Interstate 44 between Rolla and St. James were closed Wednesday afternoon when a semi-truck caught fire.
The Highway Patrol says semi-truck struck the rear end of a tractor-trailer-truck stopped in the eastbound lane.
Tractor-trailer then struck the back of a pickup-truck, and the semi went into the median cables and burst into flames.
The man driving of the tractor-trailer truck and the woman driving the pickup truck are hospitalized with minor injuries.
