The City of Bolivar has a new police chief.
The Bolivar Board of Alderman voted unanimously to hire Christopher Johns.
Johns is the former executive director of Drury University Law Enforcement and a former Springfield Police officer.
He replaces former chief Mark Webb who retired in February.
