Missouri State Parks Honors Military Service

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources is participating in the Blue Star Museums program, offering free admission to active-duty military and their families through Labor Day with a military ID.

While Missouri state parks are generally free, this initiative covers fees for museums and guided tours at sites like Mastodon, the Missouri State Museum, and the Harry S Truman Birthplace.

Part of a nationwide effort involving over 2,000 museums, the program aims to help military families connect through history and art.

Missouri State Parks is also offering year-round camping discounts for veterans and service members, and visitors in July can round up purchases to support veteran hunting programs.
