The Springfield Police Department has launched the “Hear Something, Say Something” campaign which gives residents a simple way to report vehicles creating excessive noise in violation of a city ordinance.
The campaign aims to reduce disruptive vehicle noise and encourage the community to submit usable evidence to hold vehicle owners responsible for violations.
Residents are meant to submit a complaint with the date, time and location of the violation and a video with clear audio and a visible license plate to the reporting tool available at HearSomethingSGF.com.
