A man with a federal escape warrant has been arrested after standoff with a SWAT team at a house in Springfield.
Police got a call Monday afternoon saying that 38 year-old Corey Schafer was at a house in the 700 block of Hovey Street.
The SWAT Team evacuated nearby homes and blocked off the street to traffic.
The SWAT Team and U-S Marshals used tear gas, a robot and a K-9 unit to get Schafer out of the home.
Fifteen people came out of the house.
It’s unclear if they will face charges.
