The victim of the shooting in Grant Beach Park has been identified as a 15-year-old boy.
Springfield Police believe two groups of juveniles got into an argument that led to a fistfight.
One juvenile pulled a gun and shot the 15-year-old boy.
He is hospitalized in stable condition.
Police say ten kids were involved with six of those kids being under 18 years of age.
