Springfield City Utilities says around 270 customers remain without power following last week’s severe storms that knocked out electricity to 50,000 homes and businesses.
Crews continued to work into Sunday evening and through the overnight hours to make repairs and restore service.
C-U says if your weatherhead is damaged, it must be repaired by a licensed electrician before the utility can restore service.
