Taney County man charged with DWI following crash

A Taney County man is in custody after Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a rollover crash following a towing incident.

Jarell Yeary of Bradleyville has been charged with DWI involving serious physical injury and leaving the scene of an accident with physical injury.

Law enforcement responded to the incident around 11:39 PM Saturday May 16th and found a severely damaged truck turned over on the side of the road. Witnesses reported seeing Yeary driving a red Chevrolet Silverado towing another truck and then crashing while the vehicles were still attached.

Several witnesses reported that Yeary was intoxicated during the entire event, and unhooked the trucks and fled the scene after the crash.

Responding emergency services airlifted the injured passenger to a hospital in Springfield after the crash. Yeary is currently being held in Taney County jail with no bond.
