The Kansas City Royals and Hallmark are teaming up to build a new ballpark for the Royals in downtown KC at Washington Square Park.
The proposed new ballpark will be at Crown Center.
The new stadium will generate 20,000 jobs in the construction phase alone. The new stadium will be supporting 1,000 jobs on every game day.
The project would be funded primarily by the Royals along with other private investors and will be supplemented by public funding from the city.
