The Missouri Legislature has approved a proposed constitutional amendment to gradually repeal the state’s income tax, with a final House vote of 95 to 59.
The proposal, which was mostly passed along party lines with some Republican opposition, will now be presented to Missouri voters for their decision.
It was previously amended and approved in the Missouri Senate.
