Bolivar officials have appointed Clinton Gibbens as the new deputy fire chief and assistant emergency management director.
Gibbens has previously served as deputy fire chief and emergency management director in Mountain Grove, fire captain in Brookline, and captain in Willard.
He also worked in Texas as a fire inspector and firefighter.
Gibbens holds an associate’s degree from Ozarks Technical Community College and possesses various specialized certifications.
