Two women are hospitalized in Springfield after falling out of an amusement ride at Shepherd of the Hills Friday night.
The Western Taney County Fire Protection District responded to Shepherd of the Hills around 6 PM.
Two women in their 50s had fallen out of a cart on the Copperhead Mountain Coaster.
Investigators say they fell about 6 feet to the ground.
Investigators were returning to inspect the coaster Saturday during daylight.
The ride will be closed until the investigation is concluded.
