Springfield Police have released the name of a teenager shot and killed near a local school Tuesday morning.
17-year-old Sebastian Wormington was identified as the victim who was shot and killed near the Christian Schools of Springfield on North Grant Avenue.
Officers were called to the scene just after midnight and found Wormington with multiple gunshot wounds. Another victim was found with non-life threatening injuries after authorities say he was assaulted.
Reports say the suspect fled the scene of the crime and is still on the run.
