Rain Chances Return to the Ozarks Tuesday

Rain chances are back in the Ozarks on Tuesday, with chances for showers and thunderstorms through Friday.

What We Know: We’ll have a 40 to 80% chance for showers and storms on Tuesday, with a 30-50% chance on Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday, those rain and storm chances increase to 60 to 80%.

What Remains Unclear: While ample moisture will allow for isolated heavy rainfall and localized flooding, and while confidence in periods of rain this week is high, confidence in details related to flooding is low.

What It Means: While there are daily rain chances in southwest Missouri this week, there will be periods of dry time, and all-day washouts are not expected.

What's Next:
Thunderstorms chances will be more isolated by Saturday, and drier weather is expected by Saturday night into the first part of next week.

Where to Get The Latest:
93-3 and AM 560 KWTO will have updated forecasts throughout the week, and provide coverage of any watches and severe weather warnings.
