The Springfield-Greene County Park Board launched a Mobile Food Vendor Pilot Program to increase food variety and enhance visitor experiences.
Jenny Filmer Edwards says that since internal concessions cannot cover all locations, partnering with outside vendors will provide diverse options like barbecue, tacos, and desserts at future events.
Vendors, who are interested, must apply by June 15 and meet specific requirements.
This pilot allows the Board to test the program’s effectiveness before considering a long-term expansion.
