A motorcyclist has died from injuries sustained in a crash on February 16 in Springfield.
Springfield Police say the crash occurred on the Glenstone Street bridge when 47-year-old Joseph Thornton, riding a Harley-Davidson with a passenger, 37-year-old Shayla Evans, collided with another motorcyclist who fled the scene.
Both were hospitalized, where Thornton died from to his injuries over the weekend.
The motorcyclist who left the scene has been identified.
The case has been forwarded to the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office for possible criminal charges.
