Springfield City Utilities say line crews are making progress on restoring power to customers who lost power during Tuesday’s storm.
C-U said at 4 PM Saturday that 1,250 customers are still without power.
That is a lower total from earlier this week when 50,000 were without power.
C-U is warning customers to beware of scams pretending to be from C-U asking for money to restore power to their home.
C-U will never ask for payment to restore power.
