The Grant Beach neighborhood in Springfield is preparing to hold a cleanup event for this Saturday.
Vice President of the neighborhood Pauletta Dunn says volunteers will clean up the neighborhood, collect all the metal that can be recycled, and reinvest that money back into the neighborhood.
Dunn says volunteers will take anything that isn’t hazardous waste, tires, or T.V. sets. Volunteers should meet in the parking lot across from Central Assemblies on Boonville.
