A man from Waynesville is dead following a car crash along Highway 17.
Investigators say 24-year-old Terry Marshall was on westbound Highway 17 late Wednesday night when he lost control of the car, went off the road, and hit a culvert.
The crash caused the car to flip, then hit a building, before coming to a stop and catching fire.
Marshall was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is the 14th traffic fatality of 2024 for MSHP Troop I.
