Springfield Public Schools to offer free meals to children this summer

Springfield Public Schools will be participating in the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s SUN Meals program, which will offer free, nutritious meals to children.

No registration or ID is required for SUN Meals and is open to all children and teens 18 and under.

SUN Meals sites can be found at sps.org, by texting “FOOD” to 304-304, or by calling 1-866-3-HUNGRY.

Free breakfast and lunch is offered, but meal times can vary by site.
