A man has been sentenced for assaulting a nurse at the Medical Center for Federal Prisoners in Springfield.
U-S District Judge Doug Harpool sentenced Lawrence C. Boykin of Washington, D.C, to 46 months in federal prison which will run consecutively with his prior conviction for sex offenses with a minor.
Boykin allegedly threw a food tray at a nurse, resulting in a broken nose and concussion.
