Springfield Mayor Ken McClure has delivered his final State of the City address.
He thanked voters for electing him four times.
He spoke about challenges that he feels are facing Springfield in the coming years including gun violence among young people.
He believes that state gun laws need to be consistent with federal gun laws.
He also called for city council members to be paid.
A new mayor will be elected next April.
