Police Arrest Joplin Man, Hand Down Murder Charge

A Joplin, Missouri man is facing murder charges after police discovered the body of a missing Neosho man.

40-year-old Damyon Fisher is charged with second-degree murder and armed criminal action stemming from the death of 36-year-old Scotty Roller.

Roller is believed to be the victim, but an official autopsy is yet to be conducted.

Authorities believe that Fisher and Roller got into a heated exchange on March 18th of this year over a recent vehicle purchase.

Reports say that that dispute escalated, and Fisher shot Roller in the back as he was trying to leave.

Fisher is currently being held in the Joplin City Jail. He has been denied bond in the case.
