A man has been arrested on animal abuse charges.
According to a probable cause statement, a woman told a dispatcher that her grandfather had killed her mother’s two dogs with a knife.
Officers went to the home of Gregory Hancock of Marionville.
Hancock’s clothing and hands had dried blood on them.
He was taken into custody.
He faces two counts of Class “E” felony animal abuse and armed criminal action.
