Authorities have found the body of a girl swept away by rushing water last week in Shoal Creek near Neosho.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Water Division reports the body of Kaylin Brown, 12, was recovered just before 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
Authorities say Brown was caught up in the hydraulic current below the dam.
Rescuers had to suspend the search Thursday and Friday because of severe thunderstorms and rising water.
