One person is dead another hospitalized after a shooting near Park Central Square in downtown Springfield.
Police say shots were fired from a vehicle at College Street and Grant Avenue just after 8 p.m.
Two people were rushed to a hospital with serious injuries, but one of them died from their wounds.
Police closed College Street between Grant and Campbell.
An investigation is on-going.
