Voting Day in the Ozarks

There is nothing on the ballot in Greene or Christian counties, but several local cities and counties are deciding key issues at the polls today.

The cities of Branson West, Marshfield, Seymour, and Marionville have a 3% recreational marijuana sales tax on the ballot.

Voters in Barton County are being asked to decide use tax issues.

Bolivar school district voters are considering a 20 cent tax levy to be a part of the Ozarks Technical Community College district. That would allow for tuition discounts to OTC for students from Bolivar.

Branson West also has a water and sewer bond issue and a half cent sales tax issue on the ballot that would fund public safety.

Voters in Branson, Indian Point, and other parts of Stone and Taney Counties are deciding whether to renew a 1% tourism tax.
