The results are in for the Greene County Sheriff’s Halloween compliance checks for registered sex offenders.
Yearly, registered sex offenders are checked up on Halloween to ensure that they are in compliance with their regulations, being that so many children are out on the streets that evening.
Of the over 400 checks that were carried out, 3 arrests were made, and 17 cases were submitted to prosecuting attorneys.
