A Webster County man will now stand trial for sex crimes against children after nearly four years.
Terry Rippee is one of eight people accused of child sex crimes after a series of arrests in 2018. Two of the other suspects in the case are Rippee’s sons.
He is charged with sexual misconduct involving a child under 15 as well as eight counts of statutory sodomy.
The arrests were made after a victim came forward with her story and detailed descriptions of the events in question.
Rippee will appear in court for a pretrial hearing in November of this year, with the trial set to begin on January 23, 2023.
