173 people are being held in the Greene County Jail after being detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Sheriff Jim Arnott signed a contract with “ICE” to hold immigration detainees. The jail has 300 beds that have been set aside for immigration detainees.
Some of the detainees are local, but others were arrested in Chicago, Kansas City, and Saint Louis.
