Missouri’s Senior U.S. Senator is asking Missourians to “pray” for former President Trump after the assassination attempt over the weekend. Hawley is also calling for a full, public investigation by Congress.
Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt also weighed in, asking for prayers and sharing a statement directly from Trump stating was okay.
The top candidates for Missouri Governor, Mike Kehoe, Jay Ashcroft and Bill Eigel, made statements calling for prayers, and unity.
