A deadly crash on I-44 at the 92 mile marker east of Strafford has forced MoDOT to shut down both east and westbound lanes of the interstate and divert traffic.
Authorities say the wreck involved three vehicles, including a semi, and one person has died.
Eastbound traffic is detoured to Highway 125 (Exit 88) in Strafford, while westbound traffic is forced to get off the interstate at the Northview Exit (Exit 96).
MoDOT says the process of clearing the interstate could take several hours.
