A 911 dispatcher in Polk County used coded questions to assist a woman in escaping a domestic violence incident.
A woman called 9-1-1 in distress and the dispatcher cleverly inquired if the woman needed a pizza.
A deputy called her back as a delivery driver and heard the suspect yelling at her.
The victim managed to escape after hitting the suspect with a glass ashtray.
Deputies found her outside with injuries and arrested Matthew Hicks, who faces charges of domestic assault, kidnapping, and attempted rape.
