OSHA fined Emery Sapp and Sons $8,300 after a water main break killed a worker in Branson last August.
The agency noted the company’s failure to adequately train employees to recognize unsafe conditions.
The incident occurred on Main Street near Branson Landing during construction work, when crews struck the water line.
Another injured employee is still recovering in the hospital.
