The U.S. Department of Justice reported that “Operation Spring Cleaning” led to over 101 suspects charged in violent crime investigations in southwest Missouri.
This operation involved more than 100 federal, state, and local agencies, resulting in 85 federal indictments.
The charged offenses include firearm, narcotics, and sex crimes, aimed at addressing violence and gun-related issues in the Springfield and Joplin metro areas, specifically Greene, Jasper, and Christian Counties.
