Three men have been charged by the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control in connection with a livestock theft in Texas County.
Jerry S. Barnett, Justin L. Emery, and Jared D. Mings, each face charges of theft of livestock and stealing following an investigation that began after a cattle owner reported the theft on September 16, 2025.
Barnett allegedly coordinated the sale of the stolen cattle through Emery and Mings.
All three are jailed and have pending court dates.
