Sheriff Jim Arnott of Greene County has been nominated by President Donald Trump to be the U.S. Marshal for the Western District of Missouri.
Sherriff Arnott says he will continue his role as sheriff during the Senate confirmation process and collaborating with Greene County Commissioners on selecting a new sheriff.
