A pedestrian who was struck in Springfield Saturday has died from his injuries.
Springfield Police say 39-year-old Benson Mahan who was crossing Sunshine at Zimmer outside of the crosswalk when he was struck by a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan.
Mahan sustained injuries and was hospitalized, but he died Sunday.
The Springfield Police Department is conducting an ongoing investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
