A man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to his upper arm after an argument escalated into a shooting in west Springfield.
The incident occurred in the 2300 block of W. Lynn St. before 5 PM.
Springfield Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and the man is expected to recover.
