A man faces arson charges for attempting to set the Hotel of Terror on fire on Saturday morning.
Springfield Police arrested Michael Howerton after he allegedly tried to burn the building around 9 AM.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames resulting in minor damage.
Business owner Sterling Mathis stated he does not know Howerton and the reasons behind the attempted fire.
Howerton is currently being held in the Greene County Jail.
