A man is in jail after he allegedly broke into a house in Walnut Grove on New Year’s Eve and had a snack.
A probable cause statement says a woman woke up and found her back door open and someone had eaten a container of pulled pork from the refrigerator.
She found a backpack left on the porch containing papers belonging to Josh Peacock of Springfield.
He is in the Greene County Jail charged with first-degree burglary.
