Authorities are investigating an unattended death after a body was discovered in a shed fire in Springfield on Sunday morning.
The Springfield Fire Department responded to the fire at the 1400 block of N. Prospect Ave. around 8 a.m. and found the body inside the shed.
Both the Springfield Police and the Fire Marshall are involved in the investigation.
