A man is in the Shannon County Jail in connection with a shooting in Birch Tree in November.
Court records say William Norris is charged with assault and armed criminal action.
Norris was allegedly shot in the neck by William Cooper in an argument over money at the Birch Tree City Park.
Cooper was charged with unlawful use of a firearm but claims it was in self-defense after Norris allegedly hit him with a jack handle.
