A man has been sentenced for D-W-I related to a fatal crash in August of 2024.
Wilian Garcia-Rodriguez of Branson pleaded guilty to charges after a truck he was driving overturned, resulting in the death of a passenger who was trapped underneath.
He admitted to drinking 10 to 12 beers.
He will serve ten years for D-W-I and seven years for leaving the scene of the accident, with both sentences running concurrently.
