A judge has sentenced one of three men accused in the death of a Douglas County woman in 1989.
Douglas County Sheriff Chris DeGase announced on Facebook that 64-year-old Leonard Banks pleaded guilty after an Alford Plea to voluntary manslaughter in the death of Kelle Workman in 1989.
The judge sentenced Banks to 15 years in prison.
Kelle Workman was reported missing on June 30, 1989, while mowing a church cemetery.
Her body was found eight days later in Christian County.
