A few isolated strong to marginally severe thunderstorms are possible Thursday afternoon, mainly south of I-44.
The National Weather Service says the main hazards are damaging wind gusts up to 60 miles per hour and hail up to the size of quarters.
An isolated tornado may occur, but the threat is very low on Thursday.
Drier weather returns on Friday.
