A firefighter from Birch Tree was killed and another one seriously injured when a fire truck rolled over between West Plains and Thomasville in Oregon County.
The Highway Patrol says the fire truck from the Thomasville Fire Department was on its way to a fire when it ran off the road, struck a ditch and overturned on U-S 160.
The driver was airlifted to a hospital with serious injuries and a passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both firefighters were from Birch Tree.
