Man Sentenced For Threating a Supermarket Employee

A man accused of holding a gun on a supermarket employee has been sentenced to probation.

A judge sentenced 72-year-old Larry Gay of Republic to 180 days in jail and two years’ supervised probation.

The judge suspended the jail sentence later.

A probable cause statement said Gay held a gun to the throat of a supermarket employee after they told him he was not allowed to pack his own meat.
