The Highway Patrol is investigating after a MoDOT worker was killed in Pettis County.
The crash happened Tuesday morning on Highway ‘O’ near Sedalia.
MoDOT says 60-year-old Jay Bone of Smithton was struck by a semi-truck driven by an 18-year-old.
Bone was pronounced dead at the scene.
Bone had worked for MoDOT since 2015.
