A fire truck was damaged after a power line fell onto the vehicle while SFD battled a blaze.
Firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire at a home on West Olive near Lexington Avenue.
While at the scene, authorities say heat from the fire on the front porch of the home caused a nearby power line to fall.
The pole fell onto one of Springfield Fire’s vehicles, but no one was injured.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
